Installation

Installing Cap Armor

1. Leave your Captive Cap installed on your assembled DynaVap.
2. Align the Cap Armor with the top of the Captive Cap.
3. Press firmly until you hear or feel the Cap Armor click into place.

Removing Cap Armor

1. Keep the Cap installed on the tip.
2. Hold the Digger-Outer firmly against the tip.
3. Gently wiggle and pull the Cap Armor free.

Do not push directly on the top of the Cap, as this may dent the Captive Cap.

Important Notes

Because the Cap Armor uses a secure press-fit design, minor cosmetic impressions or small dents around the upper crimp of the Captive Cap may occur over time. This is considered normal and does not affect the function or performance of either component.
